It is centrally located with two areas nearby and about 15 areas in the area. There is a nice slope for everyone's wishes. In addition to skiing, there is room for snowshoe hikes, snowboarding, mountain hiking and of course also for ice skating.
From the hut, every area can be reached within an hour and there are various huts and restaurants for something to eat and drink.
The Lachtal ski-resort (video Lachtal)
The Lachtal is the second largest ski area in Styria and one of the most snow-sure slopes. The center of the lifts is the Schönberg-Lachtal at 1600 meters. The wide pistes, endless fields of snow, snow-sure southern slopes, the comfortable six-seater elevator (heated seats, wind protection cordon), and the typical huts make winter holidays unforgettable. The skiing pleasure is secured by the 2 six-seater lifts. In addition, there are 7 lifts, such as the baby cable car, a button lift and 5 anchor lifts. The 26 km long slopes are well maintained and mostly have the red level of difficulty. Lachtal is the ideal place for families, groups, beginners and advanced.
The Pölstaler Berghütte is a B&B with 2 rooms. One room is for 2 people with a balcony and 1 room is for 2 people with a common balcony There is also a baby bed and a high chair in the Pölstaler Berghütte.
